Cristiano: "I do not doubt that I already am in the history of the football"

In an extensive interview conceded to the UEFA, the Portuguese star of the Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo, has gone back to do gala of his egocentrism when ensuring, between other things, that never had a model futbolístico and that does not doubt in any moment that already forms part of the history of the football, by all what has achieved to individual level and community.

"I do not have doubts that I will happen to the history of the football. It like him to the people or no, the numbers speak by himself alone. I will be there with the other. To some like them more, to others less, but do not have doubt that I already am in the history of the football", has said, without pelos in the tongue. "Always I have thought that I am a special player, since I began with the Sporting".

"It felt that sooner or later it would be a big professional player. Never I thought that it would go all so fast, but was preparing me because, as I have said, the talent was here. Always I have worked hard, I have believed in my potential. When it was in the Sporting, in the United and now in the Real Madrid… Have grown more and more like player, like person and like human being. I enjoy with my work".

It seems that Cristiano was happier for being the maximum goleador historical of the Champions -for the moment- that for being able to win the trophy in himself. "It is a privilege for me know that I am the maximum goleador of all time in the Champions League. Obviously, I seat me happy for having it attained. This is a special competition and a competition that the Real Madrid loves".

"I have had the luck to win twice the competition and obviously want to win more. The fans adore the Champions League and obviously to me also loves me, because it is a special competition". 

And, when they have asked after him his models to be followed, has answered the following: "To be honest, never have fixed me in any player neither in wanting to be as they. I know that some big players have gone through the Sporting but always have been thinking in the future. Already it was thinking in the national selection".

"It felt that play for a big club went to be complicated, but that went to achieve it, but play in the national selection always is more difficult. And afterwards all sucedió very fast. I signed by the Manchester United, and after a time already was in the national selection. My points of reference were Fernando Couto, Rui Coast and Luís Figo, because they were the big names in the Portuguese football".
