The FC Barcelona has explained today publicly the accounts that will present the next 21 October in the Ordinary General Assembly for the approval of the partners compromisarios, an economic balance and some exceptional budgets
The treasurer of the Managerial Board, Enrique Tombas, has detailed the balance of the exercise 2016/17, that on 30 June past closed with an income of 708 million euros, and the executive director of the Club-CEO, Oscar Grau, has desgranado the budget for the season 2017/18, with an income of 897 million euros, that will convert to the Barça in the Club with more income in the world of the sport.
Definitely, an extraordinary milestone in the history of the the Entity, that situates in the line fixed in the Strategic Plan of the Club to arrive to the 1.000 million euros the year 2021. The budget of 897 million euros surpasses the figure of 708 million income with that has closed the exercise 2016/17 and that made public on 17 July, after the approval of the Managerial Board.
The planned profits for the exercise 2017/18 rise to 21 millions after taxes, what confirms the solidity and the economic sustainability of the Club, that accumulates seven consecutive years with profits. Of from the 2010, the total sum of the profits of these exercises is of 175 million euros.
Closing of the exercise 2016/17
Regarding the closing of the corresponding exercise to the season 2016/17, the Club has reached the highest income of his history, with an increase of 13 million euros for with the figure presupuestada, fixed in 695 millions.
It is the first time that the FC Barcelona surpasses the barrier of the 700 million euros of income, and by fourth consecutive year achieves to surpass his own historical record. This income of 708 million euros represent an increase of 2% in relation to the budget and of 4% more (29 million euros) with regard to the income achieved the season 2015/16, in which they went of 679 millions.
