The FC Barcelona reinforces his presence in the ECA

Josep Maria Bartomeu has participated today in the General Assembly of the ECA (European Association of Clubs) that has celebrated in Ginebra (Switzerland). The meeting has had like main points in the order of the day the election of the new Executive Committee, whose president Bartomeu will continue forming part.
The Executive Committee has begun today the new mandate for the next two years (2017-19). Bartomeu will follow forming of this organism after having been designated on 24 August one of the four representatives of the Association of Clubs in the Strategic Committee of Professional Football of the UEFA, together with Nasser To the-Khelaifi (PSG), Ed Woodward (Manchester United) and Peter Lawwell (Celtic). This charge comports to form part of the maximum executive organism of the European clubs.
Of this way, the representatives that will form part of this Executive Committee are: Andrea Agnelli (Juventus), Pedro López Jiménez (Real Madrid), Edwin go der Sar (Ajax), Dariusz Mioduski (Legia of Warsaw), Aki Riihilahti ( HJK Helsinki), Ed Woodward (Manchester United), Ivan Gazidis (Arsenal), Josep Maria Bartomeu (FC Barcelona), Nasser To the-Khelaifi (PSG), Jean-Michel Classrooms (Olympique of Lyon), Michael Gerlinger (Bayern of Munich) , Sundays Oliveira (Benfica), Anders Horsholt (FC Copenhagen) and Peter Lawwell (Celtic).
The first decision of the new Executive Committee has been to designate Andrea Agnelli, president of the Juventus, new president in replacement of Karl Heinz Rummenigge. Agnelli Substitutes the leader of the Bayern of Munich, that has been the maximum mandator of the ECA from his foundation, in January of the 2008, after this renounced to present to a new mandate.

On the other hand, the Club reinforces his specific weight inside the Association of European Clubs with the nomination of Raul Sanllehí, director of Football, like director of the UCC SA (UEFA Club Competitions SA), a new company created by the UEFA and the ECA and that will manage the competitions of clubs in the juridical field, of marketing, of finances, etc.
