Cardoner discards himself for the next Barça elections

The mandate of Josep Maria Bartomeu concludes in the 2021 and already begins to speak of who him sucederá in the charge. The current president of the FC Barcelona will not be able to present to the elections because they forbid it the statutes of the club, with what another member of his managerial board will aspire to the presidency.

Jordi Cardoner, vice-president of the Barça, was one of the applicants to the charge, but he same has commissioned to finalise with these rumours. Cardoner Spoke with Catalonia Ràdio and with Ràdio Barcelona on this subject and ensured that it does not want that it go on speaking of him like the relief of Bartomeu because only it will be in the board.

"Still it remains a lot for the elections, but do not want that it go on speaking that I was the dolphin of Bartomeu, will be in the group that go out of the current board, that is forming because we do not speak of precandidatos still", ensured the second to the control of the club barcelonista.

Cardoner Did not doubt in putting his experience and work in favour of the club and of the candidate that choose the board, although it aimed that the most important now is the sportive subject. "I will give my support to the the one who was, as I did in his day with Sandro and with Bartomeu. I will work for the group appreciating to the partners the support that have given us all these years, but the elections are far and do not interest as much as the immediate sportive performance", explained.

Precisely of the sportive performance of the Barça also spoke and admitted that it is positive and thinks that now the ideal is to support to the team. "I am positive, see the full half bottle, have done a lot of kilometres with this team and in moments that no enamoran, think that it is necessary to be with them. Always I think that we will finish well, the ingredients are exceptional. We expect to arrive prompt to the aims", commented.

It reaffirmed the support of the club to Valverde

Ernesto Valverde​ is being very argued by the course of the team, but Cardoner showed the full confidence of the directive in him. "The support of the board Valverde has had it always. Always we have been clear: we gave him, of we give and we will give him support because has our confidence and agglutinates to the changing room", signalled.

Finally, the vice-president of the Barça showed annoying because LaLiga and the RFEF did not have Madrid and Barcelona to the hour to decide postpone the Classical.
