The FC Barcelona has informed, through a communiqué, that Luis Suárez suffers an injury in the internal meniscus of the right knee, by what will be subjected to an arthroscopy by part of the doctor Cugat, with the supervision of the doctors of the club
In case the FC Barcelona did not have already sufficient problems after the elimination in Champions League, now from the club has informed that Luis Suárez suffers an injury meniscal intern in the right knee, what could keep him during several weeks of drop waiting for that know the results of the arthroscopy that will practise him the doctor Ramón Cugat, with the supervision of the medical services of the club.
"The player of the first team, Luis Suárez, suffers an injury meniscal intern in the right knee and will be subjected today to an arthroscopy by the doctor Ramón Cugat, and under the supervision of the medical services of the club. Later it will inform of the evolution of the intervention and of the time of drop approximated", has informed the FC Barcelona.
Of this form, confirmed that Luis Suárez has to subject to an operation of meniscus in the right knee, remains clear that will have more than complicated his participation in the final of Glass of the King 2018-19 against Valencia, the next 25 May in Benito Villamarín, as well as his presence in the Glass America with Uruguay, that will contest from the month of June.
For now the club has not marked terms on the time of recovery, but the most likely is that it do not arrive to time to contest the final of Glass, what definitely will be an important drop for Ernesto Valverde. Without Luis Suárez, the Barça will lose to his second elder goleador and to one of the best partners of Leo Messi in the front of attack.
Dembélé Also is lesionado
Taking into account that Ousmane Dembélé also is doubt for the final of Glass because of his injury in the isquiotibiales, the FC Barcelona could finish playing in attack with Leo Messi like main valedor, and probably with Coutinho and Malcom in the extremes.
In any case, it will be necessary to see how advance the days and if they go fulfilling the terms of recovery of both players. Regarding Dembélé, at least, the French has all the ballots to arrive to time to contest the party, although it will not have rhythm of competition and, therefore, will go back to run the risk of recaer in the injury.
