The ex American ambassador in Spain has signed an agreement with the Club like new strategic adviser in America. The aim is very simple: follow increasing the mark 'Barça' by the continent with more Barcelona followers
The FC Barcelona and the exembajador of United States in Spain and Andorra, James Costs, have signed this morning an accord in the frame of the plans of global expansion of the Club. Costs will occupy a new charge of strategic adviser in America, where will form part of three key projects: the Foundation, the Barça Innovation Hub and the development of the mark Barça in the North American market.
The signature between James Costs and Josep Maria Bartomeu has taken place in the presidential dispatch of the Club, in presence of the CEO Barcelona, Oscar Grau, and of Javier Nephew, director of Strategic Planning and Innovation.
After the signature, all the presents have initiated conversations on possible actions to make with reason of turns it that the first team of the FC Barcelona will undertake this month of July by the United States, specifically in the cities of New York, Washington and Miami.
"By all the relation that had to have with the sponsors did us fault a person of his level. Somebody that represent the Barça in strategic subjects, of Foundation and especially with the subject of the Barça Innovation Hub. Now we have a lot of agreements with a lot of universities and needed a strategic adviser like James Costs, that help us and allow us go in increasingly strong in this country", explained Bartomeu.
