The physical preparation of the FC Barcelona, in the sight

It exists some worry, in the barcelonismo, with the quantity of injuries that has suffered the staff of the FC Barcelona since it gave beginning the season 2019-20. Until eight players have fallen lesionados in a month and half of competition, and the looks have put now on the physical preparation of the team, with the suspicion that it is not the sufficiently good.

The two last seasons, with Ernesto Valverde to the control, had a characteristic in common. The FC Barcelona surrendered to a big level during big part of the course and, when arriving the two last months of competition, the team gave a small bajón of results that affected in key parties. The bochornosas eliminations of Rome and Liverpool in Champions League had in common that both teams, Italians and English, surpassed in physical potential and energy to a Barça too static, and without capacity to move fast of area to area.

This course does not want that it go back to happen the same -would be a madness-, and is thus that the physical preparation will have to improve so that the heavy weights arrive in the best physical moment to final of season. They will not suffice the rotations, but also the daily work and of prevention of injuries, with the aim to reduce the problems that are suffering the players in this start.

"Never I give too much importance to the physical preparation", said Valverde in one of his last press conferences. "In reality, anybody understands of physical preparation. In football, as there are so many parties followed, of what treats is to go preparing you on the fly. The team is well. We are having but setbacks of what would like us, but do not go to throw the fault to the pre-season neither at all like that", added days backwards.

Doubts on the preparation under the control of Valverde

Leo Messi, when it appeared in mixed zone after the Barça-Inter, put in doubt that the quality of the preparation of the FC Barcelona went the best, although it did not want to rush forward directly against the technical body neither the planning of the club in the pre-season. Simply it left it in the air, and that each one interpret it as it want to. For the moment, the only reality is that the injuries carry weeks besieging to the staff.

It would be necessary some change in the day in day out to improve the physicist of the players? These decisions will have to take them Valverde and his 'staff' technical. While it follow winning will reign the silence in this regard. But when they go back the bad results, if it is that they do it, the focus could return to the Barcelona preparation. If this sucede, Valverde and his will have to be prepared to give an answer.
