Robert Fernández, new sportive director of the Barça

In his first official day like president of the FC Barcelona to all the effects after the traspaso of powers of the Managing Commission, Josep Maria Bartomeu took his first important decision and announced to Robert Fernández like new sportive director of the club, a place that had remained orphan after the forced dismissal during the past month of January of Andoni Zubizarreta.

Robert Fernández will occupy only and exclusively of the first team, since Pep Safe will be the chosen to restructure the basic football and the filial of the FC Barcelona with the arrival of new players that can improve the respective Barcelona staff and the exit of other footballers.



Jordi Roura, in any case, will assume the responsibility of the categories comprised between cadet and benjamín. What did not want to announce for the moment Bartomeu was the name of the future trainer of the filial, although all seems to indicate that it will be Gerard López.
