Ter Stegen, nowadays one of the best goalkeepers of the world, was acting in League of Claudio Bravo in his first campaign in the Barça. The German has confessed that it cost him adapt to this situation and that posed to leave the Barça to play more minutes
Marc-André Ter Stegen is already one of the best guardametas of the planet. The German carries several seasons playing to the highest level and beside Oblak is surely the most decisive goalkeeper of the world. The ex of the Borussia Mönchengladbach is able to win parties with his unemployed and this only do it the best.
But his beginnings in LaLiga Santander and in the FC Barcelona did not go at all easy. The germano arrived to the Camp Nou with alone 22 years to be the archer of the future of the Barça. But this same campaign also arrived to the club Claudio Bravo, a guardameta more experienced that the German. Luis Enrique opted for giving him the titularity to the Chilean in LaLiga and to Ter Stegen in Champions League and in Glass of Rey.
But the international by Germany did not accustom to play each two, three or four weeks. Ter Stegen Arrived to the Barça having been the headline of the Borussia Mönchengladbach and expected to play more. In an interview conceded to DAZN, has recognised that even it thought in leaving of the FC Barcelona to play more minutes.
"Bravo and I attain lidiar well with the situation at the beginning. It is a big goalkeeper and won the place in this moment. The trainer did not have to change of goalkeeper by his good performances. Afterwards, I reflexioné because what wanted to was to play and even thought in leaving the Barcelona", explained the germano.
Ter Stegen Also spoke of his adaptation to the Barça when arriving new from Germany without knowing Spanish. "If you come to another country, have to adapt you. You have to approach you to the people and the most important is the language. For me, speak the language of the country to the that go is a sign of respect and of gratitude", affirmed the goalkeeper.
Ter Stegen Left the open door to his future in the club
Although Ter Stegen always has recognised to be very happy in the Barcelona and is very unlikely that go , the German left the open door to a possible course of the Barcelona club when it finalise his agreement. "They remain me three years and half of agreement. Afterwards I do not know what will happen, but now can say that I enjoy of the moment and to be in the field every day", concluded.
