The president of the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has participated for the first time like new member of the Executive Committee of the ECA in the inaugural meeting of the season that the European association of clubs of football has celebrated this Wednesday in Monaco
Before beginning the meeting, Bartomeu has received the welcome by part of the president of the ECA and of the Bayern Munich, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. During the meeting have treated diverse subjects related with the FIFA and with the UEFA and has served also to prepare the next General Assembly that will take place the next 8 and 9 September in Ginebra.
The president of the Barcelona forms part of the Executive Committee of the ECA from the past month of May, when it was appointed member of the Strategic Committee of Professional Football of the UEFA, a charge that comports to participate in the maximum executive organ of the association of clubs.
