The president of the Italian Federation of Football, Carlo Tavecchio, has starred the controversy of the week when pronouncing some unlucky racist statements and homófobas, filtered to Italian means. "Keep to the gays moved away and to the Jewish watched"

In the last hours has filtered to several Italian means a recording on some controversial words of Carlo Tavecchio, president of the Italian Federation of Football, that have planted him in the sight of all the country and could force him to resign of his charge. It treats of a conversation that is supported by the journalist Massimiliano Giacomini, collected by "Il Ran Della Sera", in which it loads first against a leader that finish to declare his homosexuality.

"Keep them (to the gais) far of me. I am normalísimo", signals in pejorative tone, affirming also in the same tone that does not have at all against of the Jewish, but that it is better "to have them watched". "I do not have at all against of the Jewish, am the first in supporting them (...)".

"I was the director of 28 subsidiaries in Lombardía and there was 3 that went better, the directed by Jewish. But it is better to have them watched", can listen in the recording, in which they can hear also the laughs of the journalist. After the publication of the statements, Tavecchio ensures to have been victim of "a blackmail" by part of the reporter.

"I gathered me with a person that know from does time and to the one who have not conceded, as it asked, finance for his publishing activity and the possibility to use the Federation like vehicle to obtain European helps", has expressed the president of the Italian Federation, adding that has optimum relations with the Jewish community.

"Have optimum relations with the Jewish community, no only of sportive nature, and have supported the position of Israel in the last Congress of the FIFA". It fits to remember that, in July of 2014, Tavecchio already seeded the controversy after they filtered these statements: "England studies if the footballers that arrive to the country fulfil with the necessary professionalism to be able to play. Here, instead, it arrives a 'Opti Poba' that before ate bananas and now plays to title in the Lazio".
