This next Friday 8 August, Luis Suárez will appear in front of the TAS to give step to the final resolution of the sportive court, that will arrive some days afterwards and esclarecerá if finally there is or no reduction of the sanction imposed to the Uruguayan player

The newspaper "MD" has published an informative article in which it explains the peculiarities of the TAS and all the entramados that it is necessary to know on his operation in relation to the decision that will carry out said court on the sanction of Luis Suárez, that could reduce until two months and would mean a big news for the FC Barcelona of Luis Enrique. The Court of Sportive Arbitration is an independent institution that has headquarters in Lausanne and that is formed by around 200 people that are chosen like referees under recommendation of different sportive organisms.

Usually, the sportive cases that require a resolution of the TAS is because like this they have it established by agreement to solve any type of difference or disparity in the execution or interpretation of a determinate sanction or measure. This arbitration has advantage with regard to the other sportive courts and is much faster and cheap. It is used to to have a list of 200 people that are the referees of the TAS. If we take like example the case of Luis Suárez, will see that the Uruguayan has chosen to a referee, whereas the FIFA has appointed to another and the ICAS -organism that represents to the TAS- has chosen to another. In spite of what can seem, any referee adopts a determinate posture in favour or against as in a trial, but they are all independent and, in theory has to reign the impartiality above anything.

It is possible, besides, that designate to a Spanish referee although the FC Barcelona is involved indirectly when treating of a player of the Barcelona club. After the appearance of Luis Suárez in front of the TAS this next Friday 8 August, the final resolution will arrive in hardly three or four days and will reveal if it reduces or no the sanction or if it carries out any another alteration of the measure. The ex president of the League and current member of the TAS, Pedro Tomás, has spoken recently in an interview to the Chain COPE on the case of Luis Suárez.

"The sanction of the FIFA is an interpretation, in my opinion something new, that has adopted in this case concrete. One could understand that the deprivation of any activity of sportive character mean not being able to train but also has his juridical complications because a laboralista could interpret that to a gentleman no can him test of his normal activity by a sanction of sportive character. They are disquisitions that the FIFA, taking the faculties that confer him his statutes, has determined that this sanction mean all these things. It is something on what surely the court, if it is that the footballer and his representatives pose it in the decision, will pronounce and will serve also so that in a future take it into account".

Tomás has culminated his opinion adding that "I imagine me that the representatives of the player will do a lot of upsetting in the legal circumstances and will look the antecedents or the proportion of the sanction". We will see if Luis Suárez and, in definite, the FC Barcelona, have luck in the resolution.
