"The Ajax is deeply saddened by the news that Appie Nouri has been diagnosed with serious cerebral damage and permanent. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his beings wanted in this difficult moment", wrote the club this afternoon in two messages in the social network Twitter.

Nouri, Dutch of Moroccan origin, of 20 years, contested with the Ajax a friendly meeting in front of the Werder Bremen in Austria the past 8 July when it collapsed after 72 minutes of game.
