The Committee of Ethical and Discipline of the FIFA has sanctioned to the current presidents of the FIFA and of the UEFA, Joseph Blatter and Michel Platini, with eight years separated of any type of activity that can have relation with the world of the football, already was by administrative or sportive methods. The organism that has dictated the sentence has given immediate "validity" to the same, forcing besides to that Blatter pay a fine of 46.000 euros and Platini another of 74.000 euros.

The Committee of Ethical and Discipline, besides, informs that the payment of 1,8 million euros that made the FIFA to Platini in February of 2011, under permission of Blatter, "did not have legal base in the agreement signed by both leaders on 25 August 1999. Neither in his statement written neither in his personal audience" the president of the FIFA attained to justify the payment, since his constant references to a "verbal agreement" with Platini "did not result convincentes and were refused".

In this sense, the Committee of Ethical and Discipline considers that Blatter "did not show an ethical attitude, did not apply the rules and regulations of the FIFA and showed an abusive execution of his position like president. (...) To the not planting first the interests of the FIFA and to the not to abstain to do something contrary to these interests, Blatter violated his fiduciary duties and violated the article 15 of the Codigo of Ethical on the Loyalty", says the official failure.

On Platini, besides, explains that the Committee of Ethical has not found any proof that the French leader received the payment "in return of the execution or omission of an official record in the context of the article 21 of the Code, relative to the sobornos and the corruption".
