The current directive of the FC Barcelona chaired by Josep Maria Bartomeu has not cleared if the club will present or no a resource in front of the absolution of Joan Laporta and 16 ex directors. The current Board will gather in brief to take a decision
Once known the sentence of the judge José Manuel Martínez Borrego desestimando the demand of action of responsibility against the ex president Joan Laporta and sixteen of his ex directors, the first reaction of the current directive of the FC Barcelona chaired by Josep Maria Bartomeu has been to clear that the club is studying if it will present or no a resource.
The answer to the judicial resolution has arrived in shape of a note that advances that the document "is being properly analysed by the juridical services of the club and the conclusion will be debated in the next Managerial Board, that will summon in brief". While it do not take a decision, the Barça "will not effect statements or puntualizaciones on this sentence further of this communiqué and that any decision of the club will be communicated in the suitable moment".
In four points, the managerial board stands out the favourable appearances of a verdict that has not given them the reason. The communiqué says that the sentence:
- It recognises the legitimacy of the Barça to present the demand.
- The seven countable points debated can not consider like losses the depreciation of the terrains of Viladecans, the provision by contest of Mediapro and those that result of the sentences that condemned to the FC Barcelona to pay to Sogecable.
- The judicial decision establishes the legal bases and morals to avoid that in the future any Managerial Board can present in front of the partners negative financial balances.
- The judge does not impose the coasts to the club.
