The president of the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has celebrated what considers a "democratic party" of the Barcelona club, in which a wide majority of the partners barcelonistas have voted "yes" to the creation of the New Espai Barça. "It is a step forward"
In the press conference to inform to the media of the results obtained of the query made to the partners of the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu has showed very satisfied by the results of the vote. 72% have voted "yes" to the remodeling of the installations of the Camp Nou. "Approve this project means to step forward. From now, we will decide the plan of future. The 2021 will have a new Camp Nou that it will be a pride for the barcelonistas".
In spite of that it only has attended to vote 31,65% of the partners, the president culé has described the referendum like a "democratic party of the barcelonismo". "The figures of participation are those that the partners have decided to have. Today it has been a different vote. The partners were not accustomed to celebrate referendums. We are very happy, perhaps do not laugh so much. It is a pride. We have worked very thorough and are very happy because the partner has decided. Also we are very responsible and know that tomorrow there is a lot of work and remain a lot of titles".
Finally, it has ensured that when it finish the current season the managerial board will create a team of independent "work" that will lead the project during the next eight years. "The partners that have voted want that in 2021 have a new stadium. We will throw it forward".
