The players receive sculptures like gift of Kings

Instants before the start of the second training of the day, the players of the first team and Tata Martino have received a gift of Kings very original. François Aviles, resident French sculptor in Sitges and big follower of the Barça, has delivered them some personalised sculptures cut in sheet of metal of 1,5 millimetres of thickness. The busts measure 45 centimetres of height and 35 centimetres of width and the shadow of all they projects in the wall by means of a light. This type of sculptures are only in the world, since Aviles is pioneering in the utilisation of this technician that consists in working the sheet of metal with some special files to achieve re-create the image of the character.

Aviles Asked permission to the Club to be able to carry out these sculptures and this Thursday has made the act of delivery in the Sportive City, with the presence of the sportive vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the directive Pilar Guinovart. Players and technician have checked with curiosity the work of this sculptor and retratista French lover of the Barça. François Aviles has taken eight months in making the 28 sculptures of all the players of the staff, of Tata Martino, Tito Vilanova and Jordi Roura.
