Thuram Criticises the absence of black technicians in Europe

The ex French player has criticised in an interview in L´Équipe the prejudices of the European society to have black trainers in the teams of football because they doubt that have the sufficient "intelligence and discipline to do it"

The ex player of the FC Barcelona Lilian Thuram has criticised, in an interview in "L'Équipe", the little presence of technicians of etnia black in the teams of football. "There are not black trainers because they think that are stupid", affirmed the French. Thuram Has related this fact with the existence of prejudices in the European society, on the capacity of the black people to direct a team.

The ex player has explained that it is normal that there are black players because "the people thinks that they are big athletes with good physical capacities" but these footballers do not turn into trainers. Thuram Has manifested that to carry a team "needs intelligence and discipline, and there is the one who doubts that the people of etnia black are able to do it".
