Lamine Yamal ended his brutal streak of 12 consecutive LaLiga wins as a starter with the draw between Barça and Betis
The myth of 'Laminedependence' has been buried at the Benito Villamarín. Lamine Yamal was a starter in the match between FC Barcelona and Real Betis and the Catalans suffered a tough draw (2-2) despite the efforts of the Barça star, who, along with Iñaki Peña, was the star of a team that experienced one of its weakest afternoons this Saturday.
Glued to the right wing, the youth player was a real nightmare for the Betis defence, whose efforts were completely directed at stopping the winger. However, the brutal talent of the footballer ended up prevailing and, in addition to freeing up marks on the right flank in the first goal of the Catalans, he was the author of a great assist to Ferran Torres to give the Blaugranas the momentary victory.
The 'Laminedependence' came to an end against Betis
Betis would later draw level and Barça dropped two points in Seville. A draw that represents the end of Lamine Yamal's brutal run, who as a starter had accumulated 12 consecutive victories this season in LaLiga.

During his absence due to injury, the Catalans were defeated by Real Sociedad (1-0) and drew with Celta (2-2), while on the two occasions in which he came on as a substitute, the Blaugrana were defeated by Osasuna (4-2) and Las Palmas (1-2).
These results gave rise to the rumour of 'Laminedependencia', with which it was speculated that Hansi Flick's men did not know how to win without Yamal on the pitch. However, and beyond the great individual performance of the Mataró star, Betis took it upon themselves to put an end to this myth at home.
