Neuer's lesson: "We are privileged and we must accept a salary cut"

The pandemia of the coronavirus has suspended indefinitely the sportive activity, braking completely the world of the football with the arrest of the championships suspender belts and of the international competitions. The fault of parties has caused that the clubs have lost a lot of million euros owing to not obtaining income by television rights neither sale of entrances.

In front of this complicated situation, the teams have had to look for alternative solutions to combat the new economic crisis in which they have seen wrapped, emplazando to his footballers to collaborate and adapt his wages to these new extraordinary conditions. One of the clubs that already has pactado this reduction salarial has been the Bayern of Munich, through the conversations of the council of players with the president of the managerial board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the sportive director Hasan Salihamidzic and the managerial Oliver Kahn. Finally, it determined that the wage of the footballers would be reduced in a 20 percent.

Manuel Neuer, captain of the German selection and of the Bavarian group, explained the situation in some recent statements for the German press and, in a lesson of humility, assumed that the crisis did necessary a gesture by part of the players.
