The stadium of Maracaná does not save good memories for any of the two "Rojas". The Spanish selection lost in 2013 the final of the Glass Confederations and Chile vivó an episode esperpéntico with the sad simulation of aggression of the goalkeeper Roberto "Condor" Rojas

Spain, champion of the world and of Europe, in the moment of greater splendour, lost in front of Brazil the final of the Glass of Confederations on 30 June 2013. It was a conclusive defeat, by the result (3-0) and by the moment in that it arrived. The another antecedent is the one of the World-wide of 1950. Brazil, country organiser, defeated Spain by 6 to 1 in the final stages of the competition.

The Chilean history is even more impactante. On 3 September 1989 it lived the most shameful episode that remembers him . Chile played with Brazil the classification for the World-wide of Italy of the following year. It needed to win, but, in the minute 67, lost by 1 to 0. Then, his goalkeeper Roberto "Condor" Rojas cut he same the eyebrow with a shaving leaf and simulated that it had touched him a flare that had fallen near.

His mates believed the performance of the goalkeeper. Indignant, several players abandoned the field. The referee, the Argentinian Juan Carlos Loustau, could not them convince to go back and saw forced to give by finished the duel. The FIFA investigated the facts, and, in front of the evidences, gave the classification to Brazil. Months later, Rojas recognised the truth. And it did it to achieve the dispute of a third party in a neutral field. This Thursday, one of the two selections can reconcile with his damned stadium.
