The UEFA has done official the set up of the League of the Nations, a new competition that from the 2018 will take the place of the dates reserved to friendly parties
Although the UEFA still has not given a lot of details of the competition, the maximum organism of the European football indicated that it will structure in four divisions according to the level of the selections, with promotions and descents, and that will serve like first sifted for the Eurocopas.
The four better selections of the League of the Nations will classify directly for the final phase of the Eurocopa, without having to participate in the phase of classification, according to the project presented by the UEFA. This project, that is in study from 2011, answers to the loss of the fans by the friendly parties.
