POLL: Do you agree in postponing the Euro 2020 to finalise the Leagues?

The big majority of the professional leagues of Europe keep suspended temporarily because of the peak of the coronavirus, that keeps in crisis to countries like Italy and Spain and keeps on being, to day of today, a potential threat with increasingly infected in the world. The sport has remained in a second flat, but the high charges of the international organisations already plan how face the calendar postponed.

The UEFA has taken the decision to delay the Eurocopa to 2021, thing that will allow to free the summer to conclude the professional leagues that are at present unemployed. In LaLiga Santander 2019-20, for example, still remain for contesting 11 days with everything for deciding, and the parties could restart on 3 May to finalise the campaign on 28 June. You agree with this modification of the calendar?

From 'FCBN' want to know the opinion of our readers in relation to the change of dates, and which think that it would be the best alternative so that the football of the big European leagues go back to the normality of face to the next months. The first option is the one who already have mentioned -and the one who already has taken by part of the UEFA-, although they existed also other possible solutions.

One would have been to delay the UEFA Euro 2020 no to the summer of 2021, but to the same winter of this year 2020. Of course, this would have generated new problems in the development of the leagues of the next season 2020-21, by what said option has been descartada by the UEFA and the other representative authorities of the big European competitions.

Also it could have celebrated the UEFA Euro 2020 as it was foreseen initially -as long as for then have solved the problem of the coronavirus- and give already by concluded the European leagues of the form that suit. This alternative had more or less weight in the last weeks, but with the step of the time was losing supports.

Play it all this year 2020, something almost impossible

Finally, it was the option to expect to that solve the pandemia and, if possible, contest all the pending this summer. That is to say, try conclude the leagues and, just afterwards, play the UEFA Euro 2020 without that the players have rest neither holidays.

Of course this alternative would like to the fans by the fact to have football practically each day during the summer, but results logically unfeasible to practical effects. The decision already is taken, in any case, although it still will be necessary to expect until the pandemia of the coronavirus disappear to know when can restart the leagues.
