Last chance for Dembélé: Imminent meeting to negotiate his renewal

It approximates the final decision! The resolution of the 'case Dembélé' is in his stage summit. The FC Barcelona will gather with his representative this Wednesday to take a definite and immovable decision on the future of the French footballer. It will have to give an answer: yes or it will not renew. The Barcelona club wishes to know of conclusive way if it accepts the offer of extention of his agreement.

After so much time without receiving a definite answer, the Barça gives him an ultimatum to Dembélé and to his agent, Moussa Sissoko, so that they decide if they wish to continue in the Camp Nou further of the next 30 June. In the supposed case that they attain to arrive to an agreement to expand the contractual bond, the player will continue in the dynamics of the first team and will be one more than the staff during the rest of the season.

Dembélé Has communicated him always to Xavi his wish to continue in the Barcelona club. The French is happy in Barcelona and very appreciated with the technician egarense by the innumerable samples of support that has made public from the first day that took the reins of the bench of the first team. This same Tuesday has gone back him to transmit the same message in a new meeting between both. It is therefore that the technician is wait that place in front his interests to the ones of his agent and opt for continuing in the Camp Nou.

Three possibilities on the table

In the case that Dembélé decide not renewing with the Barça, the club has posed three possible stages to resolve the case. The sportive direction will gather with Xavi to tackle them all and take a decision in firm. The first option answers to the sportive subject and, in spite of that it decide not continuing, could follow playing and like this take advantage of his football until June, being an important piece in the diagram of Xavi.

Sell it during the next days would be the second option before it close the market of winter on 31 January. An operation complicated considering that the footballer could arrive to cost zero to the club that decide, but is not impossible. Several clubs are interested in Dembélé and have his services by what subtracts of course in return of a moderate investment can be feasible.

Finally, it is the option that more convinces in the club in the case that it does not renew: punish it and send it to the terracing by what remains of season. It is therefore that the decision will take this same Wednesday for, in case to receive the definite refusal of the Frenchman, take advantage of the days that subtract of market, as well as separate it of the team before travelling the Thursday to Bilbao to contest the eighth of final of the Glass in front of the Athletic.
