Messi, in 2003: "My dream is to triumph in the Barça and arrive to the albiceleste"

A 15 November 2003, Leo Messi conceded his first interview to the newspaper "Sport", in which it was asked after his dreams and expectations in relation to the FC Barcelona. It treated of the first interview to the Argentinian player since it arrived to Barcelona, and just a day before it debuted with the Barcelona T-shirt in a friendly against the Port wine. 

Shy and humble, as always, Leo said then that his dream was to debut with the first team of the Barça, since this was for him "the maximum". Besides, and accompanying to the then canterano of the club Jordi Gómez, signalled that "right now there are a lot of players of the quarry in the staff of First and expect that the trainer follow having more youngsters, there are them very good". And it is that the message of Leo Messi was more than clear. 

"My dream is to triumph in the Barça and arrive to the Argentinian selection". 11 years afterwards, the "10" has turned into the best player of the planet and has achieved to beat some records that neither he same contemplated to surpass years backwards. 

Now, converted already in the maximum goleador historical of the Spanish League with 253 goals to his 27 years, will surpass soon the record of Raúl González in Champions to continue shining, marking goals, delivering assistances and, in definite, enjoying of the football attaining titles for which has been and will be the team of his life: the Barça.
