On 6 March 2004 Messi debuted with the filial in a party in the Miniestadi against the Mataró. Five months before already had premièred in a friendly party with the first team
They fulfil ten years of the debut of Leo Messi with the Barça B. On 6 March 2004, in a party in the Miniestadi against the Mataró, an Argentinian youngster of 16 years premièred with the filial barcelonista. The Barça B won by 1-0 and Messi, that played the 90 minutes, left several details that, more advance, would see in the Camp Nou and in the best stadiums of all the world.
Curiously, Leo Messi already had debuted in a friendly party with the first team five months before. On 16 November 2003 the now '10' Barcelona had faced his first party like culé against the Port wine. His official debut would arrive on 16 October 2004, in the field of the Espanyol.
