Riqui Puig, former FC Barcelona youth player, has spoken through his social networks to say goodbye to the culé fans and all those who helped him in his growth within Barça
Riqui Puig, one of the canteranos that attained to do a gap inside the first team of the FC Barcelona, has split this Thursday with direction to the United States. The midfield player closed his signing with Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS with an agreement for what subtracts of season and other three campaigns more. To his 22 years, joins to the extensive list of players that opts for continuing his sportive career far of the 'old continent'.
The one of Matadepera wanted to sack of the Barça and of the fans blaugrana through a felt message in his social networks, where appreciated to the club for opening him the doors during all these years and also to those people that helped him to grow professionally inside the institution.
It began giving the 'goodbye' and standing out that in Barcelona fulfilled his dream of the infancy. "Today it must sack me of all you, of my house, of my shield and of a part of my life. Of family culé, never thought of boy that a day would play in the Camp Nou. But the dreams of the infancy, with work and dedication, do reality. I can say proud that have fulfilled my big dream", aimed.
Also it took advantage of to devote him some words to the fans and to all those that helped him in his process of training. "To all the fans say you, that have felt your support each minute that have carried this T-shirt. I carry me a lot of memories, special moments and magic nights that never will forget. Thanks to all the personnel of the club, mates and technical bodies by the training and constant help each day during all these years. All do bigger this club", affirmed Riqui.
A new adventure
Finally, it finalised the text in his profile of 'Instagram' signalling this new stage of his sportive career. "Now it touches to undertake a new adventure that goes back me to fill of illusion and goes me to retar to be followed giving the best of me same each day. Thank you very much By all the support that know that I go to be followed receiving in this new stage. VISCA BARÇA!", it concluded.
