Barça says goodbye to one of the great signings that they wanted

Neymar, Lautaro Martínez and a young center back are the great goals that FC Barcelona has set for a long time. However, the sports management has planned another signing whose profile had not transcended until recently. It is a physical midfielder, who has a journey and work to strengthen a core that will be mostly technical, led by players such as Arthur Melo or Frenkie de Jong.

One of them has been that of Tanguy Ndombélé, midfielder that FC Barcelona already wanted to take away last summer, when he was still a player for Olympique de Lyon, but that finally ended up taking Tottenham Hotspur for 60 million euros. Several sectors of the press affirmed that the Barça club returned to interest in the Frenchman, which fit perfectly within the profile sought.

As bases for the signing, it was taken into account that Ndombélé has not had all the prominence he expected in the current campaign -especially because of physical problems- and an alleged bad relationship with José Mourinho, a technician who halfway through the current academic year Mauricio Pochettino. However, it seems that finally Tottenham will not listen to offers for the French of Congolese origin.
