Jordi Masip signs agreement like goalkeeper of the first team

Jordi Masip has renewed this Thursday his agreement with the Barça until 30 June 2017. According to this new agreement, the goalkeeper vallesano, of 25 years, already is member of right plenary of the first team barcelonista. Masip, that will carry the dorsal 25, will have a clause of rescission of 35 million euros. Of this way, the Barça will have three new goalkeepers for the next season: Marc-André Ter Stegen, of 22 years, that was presented the past month of May; Claudio Bravo, 31 years, that will be presented the Monday, and Masip, that has been promoted after his good performance in the Barça B.

After the signature of the agreement, Jordi Masip has spoken for the means of the club. "It is a very special day for me, for my friends and for the family. I am very happy, ilusionado and with win to begin the pre-season", has ensured. In the first team, Masip will have like trainer to Luis Enrique, with the one who debuted in the Barça B does five seasons. "Luis Enrique is a technician with the very clear ideas, knows to what wants to play, has character and sure that it will do it well", has commented on the new trainer of the Barça.

Finally, Masip has explained as it faces the challenge to play in the first team: "I Expect to follow improving like goalkeeper and like person, and help in all what can to the team", and has added that "if they had not gone out well the things, would not be here". The goalkeeper vallesano also has valued the competition that there will be in the Barcelona goal: "Ter Stegen and Bravo are goalkeepers with experience in the maximum category, will be a healthy competition".
