Lewandowski points out the key figure for his fit at Barça

After his presentation in the Camp Nou in front of his new fans, Robert Lewandowski explained how has been his arrival to the FC Barcelona. In an interview with the Polish journalist Tomas Wlodarczyk, the forward explains what has lived in these last two weeks, now like Barcelona.

"I seat me like a small boy that goes in in an enormous shop of new toys. What seat in Barcelona up to now is pure happiness and motivation for initiating this new chapter", ensured the Pole, adding that "in Munich was missing new challenges. I won a lot of titles and recognise that every time it felt less intensity. It needed another challenge. An impulse. A change of surroundings".

One of the figures that more has influenced in the ariete, without having taken part in his signing, has been Pep Guardiola: "The philosophy of him and his style to take care and carry the team think that basically was the Barça in the Bayern of Munich. Xavi is very similar to Guardiola. Both were '6', worked together. They think the football of a same way. With this memory in mind, the Barça was the only option for me and was a big preparation when I was here", analysed Lewandowski.

"I did not speak with Guardiola before fichar. But when I was with him in the Bayern was like a big preparation to arrive some day to the Barça. All the staff was Spanish, there were eight Spanish players. During this period did very good relation with Thiago and Javi Martínez. The two congratulated me when fiché by the Barça", confessed the forward.

Decisions for taking

For the moment, the family Lewandowski remains in a house of the club in Castelldefels: "For now, I am some days in Castelldefels. Only I know the way of the training to the stadium by the moment. Probably in some months, when we know better the zone and the city, will take a decision to remain us here or look for another place to live".
