Martino: "Messi has to play where was happy"

In statements made in mixed zone after the defeat by the minimum suffered against Portugal (1-0), Gerardo Martino signalled that it sees "possible" that Leo Messi finish playing in another team of Europe in a future, but that in any case is really difficult taking into account the links that joins to the Argentinian with the FC Barcelona since had hardly 11 years. "When one sees the links that has with Barcelona, seems me difficult. When one sees the options that there is in the world, of big teams where he could fit perfectly, think that it is possible", commented.

"But in definite think that he has to be where was happy to play to the football", added Martino, that denied to have spoken never with Messi of the possibility that the "10" decide to leave to another team. "Never I have spoken this subject with him. Each one will do of this what better him plazca. The one of Madrid will think of a way and the one of Barcelona, of another... Already I lived this history the past year". 

In any team in which it play, ensured that Messi can play in the position that wished. "It will be able to play in the right, will be able to play of '9', backwards of the forward... Leo will be able to play where was because in all the sides does it well".

With regard to the defeat in front of Portugal, stood out that his selection played a good party in spite of the adverse result. "It is true that this type of parties sometimes modifies the spirit by the result, but can not leave to see that it has been a very good party.
