OFFICIAL: Barça and Lyon agree the signing of Umtiti by 25 millions

The president of the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, announced this jueve that has arrived to an agreement by the signing of the central French of the Olympique of Lyon Samuel Umtiti. An agreement that will close in 25 million fixed euros, has said the maximum mandator of the Catalan club. Now only it is missing that the player and the Barça reach an agreement. 

Therefore, it confirms what announced the past Wednesday by part of the French newspaper "L'Instrument" in which it announced that both clubs had arrived to an agreement. However, according to these informations the agreement would have closed by 30 million euros, no in the 25 fixed that has announced the president this Thursday.

The own mandator of the Olympique of Lyon informed also that the negotiations between clubs were very advanced but had denied that they arrived to an agreement. Thus, with the words of Bartomeu has done already official the agreement between both clubs for the signing of the central defence of 22 years of age.

Hours after the announcement of the president blaugrana was the own French team the one who announced it officially. "The Olympique of Lyon has agreed with the Barcelona the traspaso of his international defence Samuel Umtiti by an amount of 25 million euros", prays the communiqué published by the entity gala in his web page. The French add that the signing "will have to confirm once the player have surpassed the medical proofs" from 15 July, since the defender finds contesting the Eurocopa with the selection of France.
