Peter Siemsen: "The Barça can be calm by Gerson"

The president of the Fluminense, Peter Siemsen, has conceded an interview in which it has ensured that the FC Barcelona can be calm regarding the signing of Gerson, in spite of that in the last days clubs like Manchester City and Juventus have interested in him

In a brief telephone interview conceded to "MD" by the president of the Fluminense, Peter Siemsen, the maximum mandator of the Brazilian club has ensured that the FC Barcelona can be calm in relation to the traspaso of Gerson, although other big teams of Europe like Manchester City and Juventus of Turín also have interested in the services of the young promise during the last weeks. The Barça paid 3,6 million euros by a preferential right.

"The Barça can be calm with Gerson because has a good relation with the Fluminense and with the father of the player". In any case, neither Juventus neither Manchester City have translated still his interest in a formal offer. "There is not at all of the Juve, further of the interest that has showed by the player, but has not presented us any formal offer".

The Fluminense, besides, does not have haste to sell to Gerson. "We sold to Kenedy to Chelsea by 10 millions and now do not have any need to sell more, as we already could pay wages and are calm". In this sense, Gerson will play like minimum a season more in the Fluminense, to his 19 years. "The idea is to retain to the player a year and when the proposal was good for the player and for the club, then sell it". Siemsen, finally, denied to put price to Gerson. "This it will be necessary to determine it in the moment in which a club or the Barça decide to present an offer".
