The Barça, 169 millions to the Arsenal in signings from 2001

From the year 2001, the FC Barcelona has paid a total of 169 million euros to the Arsenal by the signings of Overmars, Petit, Go Bronckhorst, Henry, Hleb, Song, Fábregas and Vermaelen, what represents a third part of the total cost of the Emirates Stadium

The Arsenal has obtained a total of 169 million euros from 2001 by means of the sale of players to the FC Barcelona, that has done in the last years with until eight footballers "gunners". Of all they, could say that only two have finish triumphing in the club: Giovanni Go Bronckhorst and Thierry Henry, although this last arrived with 29 years and in return of 24 million euros, being three seasons in the club and being very criticised in the first of them.

In any case, the data to stand out is that the FC Barcelona already has paid roughly a third of the total cost of the new stadium of the Arsenal, the Emirates Stadium, valued in 500 million euros. And all this thanks to the worn money in Overmars, Petit, Gio Go Bronckhorst, Hleb, Henry, Cesc Fábregas, Alex Song and Thomas Vermaelen.

The Manchester City, by his part, has fichado also in the last five years to five players of the Arsenal in return of a total of 91 million euros, as it remembers the newspaper "Sport", and of all they only Samir Nasri is still title indisputable in the picture "citizen", with Gaël Clichy that alternating titularities beside Kolarov.

Vermaelen Is not headline, but already contributes

It has not had luck with the injuries since it arrived to the FC Barcelona in 2014, but the central Thomas Vermaelen has not lost neither a drop of his quality neither of his conditions of big head office that did him be one of the best in his place does few seasons.
