UEFA will implement new controls from the 2022-23 season to enforce financial fair play and limit high-cost transfers. This new regulation will influence the transfer of Jules Koundé, objective of FC Barcelona

The Seville expects to obtain between 65 and 70 million euros by the traspaso of Jules Koundé, main aim of the FC Barcelona to reinforce his saga. The club would be had to include a player to reduce the cost of the traspaso, but the mount of the operation will be conditioned by the new financial control of the UEFA, which prevents to the clubs allocate more than 70% of his income to wages and signings of players.

In this sense, Todd Boehly, new propiertario of Chelsea, warns that the UEFA will take measures more drastic from the summer that will condition the signings multimillionaires. "The fair play financial is beginning to have strength and this will limit the capacity of fichar players to any price", said the American employer in the conference SuperReturn International in Berlin.

For the Seville, sell to Koundé by less than 65 'kilos' is not an option. In 2021, the Andalusians refused offers of the Manchester City and Chelsea by 55 and 60 millions, respectively. In this sense, the group 'blue' is one of the most interested in 'fish him', in front of the course of Antonio Rüdiger and of Andreas Christensen, the one who already has all pactado with the Barça. However, his flamante owner is not had to throw the house by the window neither by the central Frenchman neither by any another player, conscious of the problems that this could bring him to the club.

"The UEFA takes it to him seriously and will follow taking it seriously, what can mean economic sanctions and the disqualification of the sportive competitions", added Boehly. From here that the Seville, perhaps, have to go down his economic pretences by the one of Paris, something that would benefit to the group blaugrana. For the Barça, the budget for signings depends of the success of the 'crowbars' financial that can concretise the directive, by which is little likely that can present an upper offer to the 50 'kilos'.

The Seville looks for to the replacement of Koundé

Julen Lopetegui knows that it will be very difficult to retain to the defender of 23 years and already has asked to the sportive director sevillano, Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo 'Monchi', look for alternatives in the market for the Frenchman. As it advances 'Sportive World', Benoît Badiashile and Joao Victor are the candidates preferred of the club until the moment. The French could go out of the Monaco by a near price to the 30 'kilos', while the Brazilian property of the Corinthians is valued in 10 million euros.

Another alternative 'low cost' would be Omar Alderete, Paraguayan defender of the Hertha Berlin. The player of 25 years played yielded in Valencia the past season and would cost around 7.5 'kilos'. For the moment, the Seville already has sold to Diego Carlos to the Aston Villa by 35 millions and prepares to give exit to Koundé, although maybe by an inferior price to the pretences of the directive. In the meantime, the Barça to present an offer, in so much his finances allow it to him.
