The Premier League can be an important threat for the teams of the rest of the big leagues in the market of signings of this summer
The past month of March, all the official competitions saw forced to detain because of the massive propagation of the coronavirus. The pandemia confined to big part of the world-wide population in his respective domiciles and of course the football saw affected in a stop that lasted some three months. Something that had important consequences in the sportive calendar.
The big domestic leagues had to finalise between the months of June and July, what forced also to postpone a year advance the Eurocopa that had foreseen in this 2020. Besides, the Champions League and the rest of competitions of the UEFA saw forced to change of format and to schedule for the month of August. All this, of course, also comported important changes in the market of signings.
The current period of traspasos initiated the day 4 August or, what is the same, the Tuesday of this week. The date has advanced more than a month of what is used to to be usual by what, far to shorten the period so that the teams incorporate players, the measure adopted will be that the market will finalise in October in place of in September.
As it is used to to be usual, the Premier League has decided to go by his account in what to calendar refers and fix some limits in the calendar that are totally distinct in comparison to the rest of big leagues. Usually, the period of signings in England finalises around the middle of August -just when it begins the competition- that it is between two and three weeks before the rest. In this occasion will be entirely on the contrary.
Whereas LaLiga Santander, the Series To or the Bundesliga will finalise the period of incorporations the day 6 October, the Premier League will have ten days more for fichar, giving by finishing the market the day 16. This will give much more margin to the English teams for fichar, something that can turn into a big threat for the rest of European clubs in which there are players that interest to some British group.
Could repeat a case 'Martin Braithwaite'
If a team of the Premier League decides fichar to a player of another championship, the team of said player can see very prejudiced since it will not be authorised to fichar to a substitute until it do not reopen the market of winter. An example of what could finish happening is the signing of Martin Braithwaite by the FC Barcelona the past month of February (out of period), that left to the Leganés without his more important player and without possibility of fichar to a substitute.
