OFFICIAL: there will be VAR in the Seville-Barça of Supercopa of Spain

The FC Barcelona will measure this Sunday to the Seville for the dispute of the first official title of the season: the Supercopa of Spain. The Barcelona team and the hispalense will see the faces in Tangier to only party, in what it will be the première of the VAR in a Spanish competition, as it has informed the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) in a communiqué issued this Thursday.

"The party of the next Sunday in Tangier between the Seville FC and the FC Barcelona will serve to première the VAR in an official meeting of a Spanish competition, after the efforts made by the RFEF to be able to use the technological assistance in the first final of the season", prayed the official communiqué of the RFEF.

The announcement also mentioned that the agreement between the Federation and the ITAF has been definite for the implantation of the VAR: "After having received the approval by part of the International Football Association Board (IFAB) does some hours and once checked the feasibility of the technical specifications of the tool in Moroccan floor, the RFEF and the CTA have decided to bet by the implantation of the VAR for the final of the Supercopa of Spain".

Besides, also it has informed about the referees commissioned to put in operation the new technologies: "The Madrilenian Carlos of the Big Hill will be the referee commissioned to première the technological assistance in a competition of the RFEF. The referee assistant of video will be Jesús Gil Manzano and like assistant VAR has been designated Ángel Nevado González".

The communiqué also specifies that so much Seville like FC Barcelona have to observe the use of the system of the VAR. "Both clubs have to accept the employment of the VAR in this party", added the press release, informing also that "the last proofs would make the Saturday in the afternoon in the stage of the party in Tangier".
