The RFEF has not yet defined which Saudi cities will host the Super Cup

As already it has done usual from the implantation of the new format 'final four', the Supercopa of Spain will contest at the beginning of year. Although it already is known that the tournament will contest in Saudi Arabia, for the moment does not know which or which will be the cities where will take place each one of the three parties that conform the official calendar of the event.

Recently, the Commission Delegated of the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) has given to know the regulations of the tournament. However, still it has not remained clear where will contest : "The parties will take place in the/s city/is of Saudi Arabia that determine , except that the competent organs of the RFEF agree another place of celebration".

It will be the fifth occasion in which the tournament will play out of Spain and the chamber with Saudi Arabia like fixed headquarters. For this occasion also can repeat the Classical, but only in the decisive meeting and no in the semifinals, as it occurred in the previous edition that finished conquering the Real Madrid after imposing to the culés and beat to the Athletic in the final.

Regarding the calendar, the event will celebrate between the days 11 and 15 January. The first day of competition will carry out the first semifinal, whereas the second will contest 24 hours afterwards. Both winners will measure in the final the Sunday 15. The Real Madrid and the FC Barcelona will assist like champion and runner-up of LaLiga, respectively, whereas the Betis and Valencia will follow suit in representation of the Glass of Rey.

Changes in the regulation

In case of tie in any one of the parties, will contest an extention of 30 minutes divided in two times of 15 minutes. To persist the equality, the batch of penaltis will define the name of the team that advances to the final or tops like champion of the tournament. If any of the groups at stake has one or more players on the field for the moment of the definition, will have to 'sacrifice' to the remaining players. Nevertheless, any one of them or some player of the bench in case of sobrar some replacement will be able to suplir to his goalkeeper in case to be replaced.
