Florentino P\u00e9rez once again placed FC Barcelona at the center of the controversy over the Negreira case<\/strong>. The Real Madrid president took advantage of the traditional Christmas meeting with the media to insist on his discourse about the refereeing system and demand justice for what he described as “the biggest scandal in the history of football”.<\/p>

Far from toning down his rhetoric, the white executive reiterated his criticism of LaLiga and the RFEF, accusing them of having left his club alone in a situation that, in his opinion, calls into question the integrity of the competition.<\/p>

Florentino Demands Justice and Criticizes Institutions<\/h2>

During his speech, Florentino P\u00e9rez stated that the main concern for Real Madrid<\/a><\/strong> remains the refereeing situation and the Negreira case, which lasted for almost two decades.<\/p>

“It’s extremely serious. The Negreira case deserves justice. It’s incomprehensible that the institutions have left us alone,” he stated.<\/p> <\/blockquote>

Negreira payments back in the spotlight<\/h2>

P\u00e9rez again recalled the payments made by Bar\u00e7a to the former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees, insisting that there is no convincing explanation.<\/p>

“We know that more than 8 million were paid for technical reports that no one has seen. Who can believe it?” he pointed out.<\/p> <\/blockquote>

In his speech, he also cited the investigating judge in the case, who spoke of “systemic corruption,” and recalled that the Blaugrana club itself acknowledged that those payments were “convenient,” a statement that, according to him, remains unclear.<\/p>

Referee Criticism and Final Warning<\/h3>

Florentino P\u00e9rez<\/strong> also found space to criticize recent refereeing performances, such as the match played in Vitoria, and denounced unpunished actions against players like Vin\u00edcius and Rodrygo.<\/p>

The president of Real Madrid<\/strong> closed his speech with a strong warning, stating that the Negreira case could have had irreversible sporting consequences.<\/p>

“It is possible that some club has been relegated as a victim of this situation. A lot of damage has been done to our football and justice must be served,” he concluded.<\/p> <\/blockquote>
