Bad news for the 28-year-old Danish defender, Andreas Christensen<\/strong>. The FC Barcelona<\/strong> has recently used its communication channels to report that the ’15’ has been injured again, a physical setback suffered in Monday’s training session<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Azulgrana team has officially announced that Andreas Christensen<\/strong> has suffered an injury to the sole of his right leg<\/strong>. This setback will leave him out of action, according to the club’s estimates, for about three weeks<\/strong>, marking his second physical setback of the season.<\/p>

Follow Christensen’s ‘calvary’ with injuries<\/h3>

It is important to remember that Andreas Christensen<\/strong> has only been able to play one official match in this 2024-25 season under the orders of Hansi Flick<\/strong>. This was the match that kicked off the campaign against Valencia CF<\/strong> (1-2), corresponding to matchday 1 of LaLiga EA Sports<\/strong>, held on August 17 at Mestalla, where the Dane entered in the 64th minute replacing Pau Cubars\u00ed<\/strong> in defense.<\/p>

After that match, which Christensen<\/strong> completed without any apparent physical issues, it was announced, after the corresponding medical studies, that he was suffering from tendinopathy in the left Achilles<\/strong>, <\/strong>requiring surgery. This injury kept him away from the field for five months, receiving medical clearance<\/a> just on January 17.<\/p>
