Clearly, the answer does not go beyond the fact that the Barcelona team, <strong>due to its complicated economic situation, has had to focus its efforts primarily on player departures<\/strong>.<\/p>  <p>In this regard, the Catalan club has shown greater cunning than its competitors, <strong>letting go of a total of nine assets<\/strong> <strong>this summer<\/strong>, several of them through sales like Mika Faye (\u20ac10.3 million to Rennes), Juli\u00e1n Ara\u00fajo (\u20ac10 million to Bournemouth), Chadi Riad (\u20ac9 million, three from his sale to Betis plus another six from 50% of the capital gain from his transfer to Crystal Palace), Marc Guiu (\u20ac6 million to Chelsea FC); others through loans like Vitor Roque (Betis), Cl\u00e9ment Lenglet (Atl\u00e9tico Madrid), and Oriol Romeu (Girona); as well as some released players like \u0130lkay G\u00fcndo\u011fan and Sergi\u00f1o Dest. <strong>These moves have allowed the club to generate income and lighten the wage burden, one of the team&#8217;s main current disadvantages<\/strong>.<\/p>  <p>Having carried out these operations, although an additional departure cannot be ruled out, <strong>Barcelona apparently seeks to strengthen its squad in the transfer market<\/strong>, having already added Pau V\u00edctor (\u20ac2.7 million) and Dani Olmo (\u20ac55 million).
