Every move seems to indicate that the Rottweil native will not leave Bayern Munich<\/strong>, at least in the near future.<\/p>

In this context, the club’s main strategy to negotiate for Joshua Kimmich<\/strong> appeared to be based on the option of the German midfielder, under contract with Bayern until June 30, 2025, deciding not to renew his association with the Bavarian club. This would open up two scenarios: the first would involve the Bavarian team, in the event that the ‘6’ expresses his intention not to renew, seeking to transfer him in the winter market, possibly accepting offers below market value. The second scenario, apparently the most favorable for Barcelona<\/strong>, would be to acquire his services as a free agent in the summer of 2025.<\/p>

However, the German’s stay at Bayern Munich<\/strong> seems to be increasingly a reality. The German midfielder, as hinted in recent statements, would be willing to negotiate with the Munich team<\/a> the extension of his contract. Consequently, both parties would be interested in reaching an agreement, so it feels like a matter of time before an understanding is reached and this elusive renewal is finally announced.<\/p>

Bayern Munich to Give Captaincy to Joshua Kimmich<\/h2>

Now, there is information suggesting that the renewal of Joshua Kimmich<\/strong> is close to becoming a reality. According to the German newspaper ‘BILD’, Bayern Munich<\/strong> is in a position to offer him the team captaincy, currently held by Manuel Neuer, in order to give the Bavarian midfielder more prominence and to convince him to seal the contract extension agreement.<\/p>

This would be a new move by ‘Die Roten’ to try to secure the continuity of the German midfielder in the team. Kimmich<\/strong> is reportedly considering this continuity given his current good moment at the Munich team. Beyond Bayern’s positive results in sports, Joshua’s situation in the club seems very favorable, as he has a good relationship with his current coach, Vincent Kompany<\/strong>.<\/p>
