Marc-Andr\u00e9 ter Stegen’s<\/strong> recovery with FC Barcelona<\/strong> could happen sooner than expected by the Bar\u00e7a medical team. The German was ruled out for a long period<\/a> (4 months minimum) and should be out of action for the rest of 2025.<\/p>

However, the goalkeeper believes he will be fit to play again in approximately one month, or at the latest, in early December this year<\/strong>. This is provided that his progress in the coming weeks continues to be optimal.<\/p>

The Bar\u00e7a ‘1’ has incorporated bike workouts to strengthen his physique<\/strong> into his daily gym routine. The captain underwent surgery at the end of June to treat, once again, lower back pain that already affected him at the end of 2023.<\/p>

Beyond the complex scenario surrounding his future in Barcelona, Ter Stegen, for now, is only focused on fully overcoming his physical problems. The man from M\u00f6nchengladbach insists on staying to fight for the starting position<\/strong>, even knowing he is relegated and with the need to play to not risk his presence in the next World Cup.<\/p>

Julian Nagelsmann counts on him as captain and starter, as long as he manages to be consistent in the second half of the 25\/26 season<\/strong>. In his country, they insist that he accept an offer in the winter market, with a loan being the best alternative to facilitate his departure from Bar\u00e7a.<\/p>
