On this occasion, he did so during his appearance before the <strong>Commission of Education, Vocational Training and Sports of the Congress of Deputies<\/strong>, where he once again addressed <a data-external=\"0\" data-intl-links-en=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/en\/tags\/case-negreira\" data-intl-links-es=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/tags\/caso-negreira\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/en\/tags\/case-negreira.html\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Caso Negreira\">the controversial &#8216;Negreira case&#8217;<\/a> and the alleged role of the Azulgrana team in it. Without hesitation, the Spanish-Costa Rican president assured that <strong>Bar\u00e7a<\/strong> incurred in &#8220;sports corruption&#8221;.<\/p>  <p>&#8220;We were the first to appear and we are going all the way. <strong>I have said it, there is sports corruption.<\/strong> Referees were not bought, but trying to influence the promotions and relegations of referees is sports corruption,&#8221; declared the president.<\/p>  <ul> <li>\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>What is the &#8216;Negreira case&#8217; investigating?<\/strong>: The case revolves around the payments of <strong>7.5 million euros<\/strong> that the Catalan team would have made, between 2001 and 2018, to <strong>Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Enr\u00edquez Negreira<\/strong>, former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA), and his son, <strong>Javier Enr\u00edquez Romero<\/strong>, through several companies linked to both. The investigation seeks to clarify whether these alleged payments were intended to influence arbitration decisions in favor of the Cul\u00e9 club.<\/li> <\/ul> <h2>Tebas rules out the administrative relegation of Bar\u00e7a<\/h2>  <p>Despite his accusations, <strong>Tebas<\/strong> rejected the idea that <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> should face an <strong>administrative relegation<\/strong>, although he compared it to the case of <strong>Real Murcia<\/strong>, which was relegated in 2014 due to financial problems. &#8220;<strong>I don&#8217;t know if you are comparing Murcia with Barcelona.<\/strong> Murcia&#8217;s case was due to non-payments. If those rules had been in the Federation, nothing of what we have seen in the Majadahonda court would have happened. But certain institutions get hives when talking about &#8216;compliance&#8217;.
