The doctor who won the hearts of FC Barcelona's dressing room\">who in life had an impeccable professional career<\/a>.<\/p>  <p>It is worth remembering that although he formally became the team doctor in the 2024-25 season, <strong>Mi\u00f1arro Garc\u00eda<\/strong> had been part of the Blaugrana institution since 2017, but he was serving in the futsal section. Even the players have practically one by one reported on their social media, leaving a message of gratitude and praise to the memory of <strong>Carles Mi\u00f1arro<\/strong>.<\/p>  <h2>Barcelona&nbsp;submitted a request to UEFA to hold a minute of silence in memory of Dr. Mi\u00f1arro<\/h2>  <p>Now, <strong>FC Barcelona<\/strong> will honor the memory and legacy of <strong>Carles Mi\u00f1arro<\/strong> by dedicating a minute of silence before the crucial match the Blaugrana will have against <strong>SL Benfica<\/strong> this Tuesday (18:45 CET &#8211; Estadi Ol\u00edmpic Llu\u00eds Companys) in the <strong>UEFA Champions League 2024-25<\/strong>, marking the closure of the round of 16 tie and the first match following the tragic news.<\/p>  <p>It is important to mention that the match against <strong>CA Osasuna<\/strong> in LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 was suspended precisely due to the severe emotional impact caused by this news on the cul\u00e9 squad. This happened shortly before the start of the match against the Navarrese team.<\/p>  <h3>UEFA&#8217;s response to this request from the Blaugrana club was affirmative<\/h3>  <p>At this point, as reported by &#8216;Mundo Deportivo&#8217;, <strong>UEFA<\/strong> approved this request. This decision is in line with the stance that the governing body of football in Europe has taken. For instance, last week, UEFA President <strong>Aleksander \u010ceferin<\/strong> granted permission for a minute of silence to be observed in the match between <strong>Real Madrid and Atl\u00e9tico<\/strong>, in <strong>memory of Javier Dorado<\/strong>, a former player of the Madrid team who sadly passed away at the age of 48 due to leukemia.<\/p>  <p>This approval by <strong>UEFA<\/strong> to carry out this symbolic gesture is the second display of flexibility shown by the European football governing body towards <strong>FC Barcelona<\/strong> following the death of Dr. <strong>Carles Mi\u00f1arro<\/strong>.
