Before leaving for Mexico, FC Barcelona Women<\/strong> announced the arrival of two new players to reinforce the squad. They are Sydney Schertenleib and Luc\u00eda Corrales<\/strong>, who will join Pere Romeu’s team for the 25\/26 season.<\/p>

Romeu<\/strong> promoted Schertenleib<\/strong>, an 18-year-old midfielder, to the first women’s team, who saw minutes with her national team in the last European Championship. In addition, he also incorporated Corrales<\/strong>, a 19-year-old winger, for this summer, who returns from her loan at Sevilla<\/strong>.<\/p>

Schertenleib<\/strong> and Corrales<\/strong> join Laia Aleixandri<\/strong>, who arrives from Manchester City. So far, three players have been officially signed for Bar\u00e7a Women<\/strong>.<\/p>

Beyond the aforementioned incorporations, Bar\u00e7a Women does not rule out incorporating one more player in August before the market closes. This summer, the blaugrana club suffered the sensitive losses of Fridolina Rolf\u00f6, Ingrid Engen, Jana Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/strong><\/p>

However, Romeu trusts his squad. “In football you never know, things can always happen in August. At the moment we are counting on the players we have and we don’t expect many more changes<\/strong>“, assured the cul\u00e9 technical director.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a Women maintains the ambition to continue winning<\/h2>
