FC Barcelona<\/strong> expects to approach the next winter transfer window with financial normality for the first time since 2020. The club’s return to the Spotify Camp Nou<\/a> will allow a return to the 1:1 rule and, with it, there would be no ‘Fair Play’ restrictions on investing in reinforcements. However, the board, for now, is not thinking about reinforcements for January<\/p>

In an interview for ‘Catalunya R\u00e0dio’, Anderson de Souza<\/strong>, Deco<\/strong>, made clear the Blaugrana roadmap for the upcoming transfer window. Bar\u00e7a has been severely punished by injuries in the first three months of 25\/26, but both the board and the coaching staff maintain full confidence in the depth of the squad<\/a> to go for all titles in play in 2026<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a, for now, is not working on signings for January<\/h2>

“**If we are fine and there are no surprises, I don’t think it’s necessary**,” began the Barcelona sporting director. Full confidence in Flick and the squad to overcome the slump of the last month<\/h2>

With the upcoming winter transfer window in mind, the defense could be considered the priority line to reinforce. Bar\u00e7a has conceded 16 goals in the last 9 matches and both **Jules Kound\u00e9 and Alejandro Balde**, at present, do not have reliable replacements, although Hansi Flick does have confidence in them (**Eric Garc\u00eda and Gerard Mart\u00edn**).<\/p>

Regarding this, Deco agrees with the manager’s assessment that, more than the style or manner of defending, the lack of intensity in line-by-line pressing is the key to defensive fragility.  Therefore, rather than thinking about reinforcements, the idea is to focus on recovering the injured players<\/a> and making any necessary improvements.<\/p>

“When we lower the intensity, we suffer. We need to have the best players. There are no excuses, but when you can’t make changes due to injuries and they condition our midfield\u2026 There are things to improve even when winning,” the Barcelona sporting director pointed out.<\/p>
