The FC Barcelona board makes a very positive assessment of its Asian preseason tour this year. Beyond the uncertainty that surrounded the initial flight to Japan<\/a>, everything has gone according to plan and the club will receive about 15 million euros net for its three friendlies in Asia.<\/p>

In that sense, Bar\u00e7a seems willing to return to Asia for its next preseason. The club could go to China, without ruling out a return to Japanese and South Korean lands<\/strong>. Everything will depend on the sponsorship contracts that arise in the coming months.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a could ‘forget’ about the United States again in 2026<\/h2>

Along with the economic and media factor, there is another important reason to bet again on the Asian market in the summer of 2026. Like this year, the United States will host a continental fair, the absolute World Cup of national teams<\/strong>, which ends on July 19.<\/p>

Landing in North America after a World Cup does not seem like a sensible option<\/strong>, this being the main reason why Barcelona pointed to Japan and Korea this 2025.<\/p>

After the Club World Cup, in addition to the dispute of the Gold Cup and the Leagues Cup<\/strong>, the US market was more than saturated this summer.
