FC Barcelona<\/strong> will once again have a very demanding schedule after the second break of the 2025\/26 season. The team managed by Hansi Flick<\/strong> will play a total of six matches in a span of 22 days (three weeks), including the first Liga Cl\u00e1sico against Real Madrid<\/a>.<\/p>

The Bar\u00e7a team, which closed last week with defeats against PSG (1-2)<\/a> and Sevilla (4-1)<\/a>, returns to action next Saturday, October 18 against Girona, in Montju\u00efc (16:15 CEST)<\/a>. Afterwards, the ‘cul\u00e9s’ will play a couple of Champions League matchdays (against Olympiacos and Bruges) and another three LaLiga matches.<\/p>

Once the Catalan derby against Girona is over, Barcelona will host Olympiacos, again in Montju\u00efc, for the Champions League<\/a>. The match will be played on Tuesday, October 21 at 18:45 CEST, opening the third matchday of the league phase.<\/p>

Five days later, it’s time to visit Real Madrid<\/strong> for matchday 10 of LaLiga (4:15 PM CEST). One year after the thrashing (0-4)<\/a> that began Flick’s side’s dominance in Cl\u00e1sicos, the Bar\u00e7a team returns to Chamart\u00edn in search of their fifth consecutive victory against ‘Los Blancos’ and with the mission of regaining the LaLiga lead.<\/p>

The following week there will be a break, until Sunday, November 2, when Bar\u00e7a hosts Elche <\/strong>(6:30 PM), with the venue still to be confirmed. On Wednesday, November 5, they will visit Bruges<\/strong>, for the fourth matchday of the Champions League, while on Sunday the 9th there will also be a trip, but to Bala\u00eddos against Celta<\/strong>.<\/p>

Both matches, against the Belgians and Galicians, will be played at 9:00 PM and precede the third international break of the season, the last of 2025. The team will pause its activities again until the weekend of November 22-23<\/strong>, when they will host Athletic<\/strong>. Hopefully, the Spotify Camp Nou<\/a> will be ready for that date in its phase 1B (45,000 spectators).<\/p>

    The Greeks, before their visit to Montju\u00efc, have barely added up to one point in the first two matchdays<\/strong>, after drawing in Piraeus against Pafos (0-0) and falling to Arsenal on matchday 2 (2-0). Jos\u00e9 Luis Mendilibar’s<\/strong> team has yet to score in the tournament and are third in their league, behind AEK and PAOK.<\/p>

    Bruges, meanwhile, debuted in the Champions League with a surprising thrashing of Monaco (4-1) in Belgium<\/strong>, but fell in their visit to Atalanta (2-1) on the second matchday. As it is an away game, Bar\u00e7a will have to take the match against Nicky Hayen<\/strong>‘s team much more seriously, who are currently second in the Belgian league behind Union Saint Gilloise.<\/p>
