FC Barcelona <\/strong>have gone a second straight game without a win in LaLiga after suffering a last-minute draw against Celta de Vigo (2-2)<\/a>. A draw that marks the end of an impressive streak for the Blaugrana team, which until the match in Bala\u00eddos had accumulated 31 consecutive official matches without equalising the score<\/strong>.<\/p>

A record that extended back to the ‘Xavi era’<\/h3>

With a record of 25 wins and 6 losses, the Catalans had not signed a draw since March 3, when the team led, at that time, by Xavi Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> drew 0-0 with Athletic Club de Bilbao<\/strong> at San Mam\u00e9s.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a <\/strong>had achieved a score for or against in 14 games of the 2023\/24 season, doing the same in 17 matches this season. This streak of 31 games without a draw has not been seen since the period between 1913 and 1916<\/strong>, when the Blaugranas themselves reached a historic record of 33 consecutive games without drawing.<\/p>
